Great game my friend! Really fun to play, cool music and visuals.

Really enjoyed the gameplay and the narrative going on here, and how one plays into the other. My only complain is that the boss is a bit broken... The challenge is good, but sometimes it feels unfair when he combos me into basically a one hit kill. Besides that, great game!

The boss it's probably the section that was harder to figure out in terms of how difficult it has to be. It can feel unfair because if you start getting hit it's really hard to get out of his reach, but in a way it's supposed to be so... At a certain point I just gave up overthinking it, I let some friends play it, they said that was hard but doable so well, there it is :D
Thanks for playing!

This is one of the best games I've ever played here... I was supposed to be working right now but the game I was going to play for 15 minutes in my free time actually took 2 hours because I simply couldn't stop. Great work.

This just misses the mark of being great. The art is not very good, the story can be a bit dull, and the battle is basic at the start and then a bit confusing later (tho I really love the card mechanics with Ithara). But it's really interesting that, despite all the issues, I really enjoyed what I played. This game conducts the player really well, there's an intuitive design and flow to the quests. It's one of the most interesting RPG maker games I've ever played on Newgrounds.
I think the game is not great yet, there's much to be improved, but it certainly has potential and you've clearly put a lot of effort into it. Good job!

Good one! I really like the disempowering mechanic this game has, it makes narrative sense and helps to convey and invite us to think about the situation the game presents, on which many of us here will relate. Congrats!

Stopsignal responds:

Thank you so much! The fact that we all can relate to this in some way it's, imo, what elevates the game in some way. I mean, to be honest, it's not the best game in the world, it's quite small and simple, but the connection people tell me that they get from this little thing is what makes it great, at least in my opinion. I'm very proud of it!

Fantastic concept, and fairly well executed! I just can't figure out how to beat the king itself, I tried everything but I can't seem to damage him.

Stopsignal responds:

Thank you so much! The lifebar is a bit bugged, i'm afraid- you do damage him, but it takes a while before it shows red in the bar. You won't do enough damage unless you manage to catch him on fire, though!

You see, this is the kind of stuff that I expect from Newgrounds. Good one!

InfinityVerge responds:

Haha thx!

Too slow, too grindy, gets boring quickly... It has potential, but right now it's not keeping my interest

Unfortunately the screen is dark for me, only the text is visible, so the game is unplayable :/

EDIT: Fixed :)

BobbyBurt responds:

That problem is due to browser settings. Give the last section of the description a look.

The idea is great, but you NEED some game design tips, the overall attacks deal too little damage, battles take way too long, are not interesting nor fun and you get too little gold, it's simply boring, which is a shame cause it had a good potential. If you expand on this principle of battle, shop, repeat, add skills, more enemies, more things to do, fixes the numbers regarding attack and so on, this will eventually be a pretty charming game
Keep on improving
